Please note that the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
“RECOMMEND THAT ALL CHAIN SAW OPERATORS HAVE REGULAR REFRESHER/UPDATE TRAINING TO ENSURE THAT THEY WORK TO INDUSTRIAL BEST PRACTICE AND MAINTAIN THEIR LEVELS OF COMPETENCE"*.
Suggested intervals for such training are:
Occasional users - every 2 to 3 years
Full time users - every 5 years
