Course Description

An advanced course for experienced operators of chainsaws. The course will mainly involve the felling and processing of tree sizes at felling height greater than 76 cm (30 inches). The felling technique will include the boring through of the sink (and a lot of wedging)

As with Unit 32 Candidates have the option of being trained and subsequently assessed in either a broadleaved or conifer crop, or both. Please specify main area of interest if any with initial enquiry
